Build Update 06/06

the idea is a private system that captures what you see and care about into a
knowledge base that acts as a portable module for federated training

some stuff that works:

• Point and capture. You hold a hotkey combo, drag a box around anything and let go. The system reads it and turns it into clean, connected notes on its own i.e. data query
• Each capture links to things by meaning so it builds into a web of what you know instead of a pile of randomness i.e. context engineering
• Can sort captures into separate projects and switch what you're actively collecting into.(assumed this was helpful but not entirely sure)
• Every note is cryptographically signed as your own record.(needs to be audited. currently using hand-rolled cryptography to avoid third party packages)

[the part I care most about]:

• Nothing ever leaves your device. The system makes zero outside connections.
• Everything's encrypted on disk.

capture → understand → connect → store

it's not pretty to look at. and it's very glitchy, but it's getting there.
